Update on the Lynchburg RB Mission: We were blessed to meet on Sunday evenings for about a year (September 2013-September 2014) and grew to have about 30 people in attendance (with children and students).
In September 2014, however, we decided to suspend our regular meetings for a couple of reasons, including a sense that at this point we did not have enough core people to see a confessional RB church formed and we did not have the leadership needed. Those involved were encouraged to continue or begin involvement in existing local churches.
Though we have suspended meetings for now, we are still hopeful we might be able to resume at some point in the future. Recent interest, for example, has been expressed, about the possibility of starting a small group study of the Second London Confession (1689).
